DQ leaves Ahn
stunned, agent says
Shi Hyun Ahn is stunned in the
aftermath of her disqualification
last week in Canada, according to
her agent, Vicki Lee.
Lee, who spoke on behalf of Ahn
with Golfweek, said no
words were exchanged between Ahn
and her caddie in regards to
playing the wrong ball before Ahn
walked into the scoring tent. It
was only after Ahn signed her
scorecard that she realized the
mistake, when playing partner Il
Mi Chung brought it to her
attention. The notion that she
informed her caddie to keep |
quiet about the situation simply
is false, she said. Ahn’s caddie,
whose identity could not be
confirmed, (how can a person
carrying a bag for an LPGA player
be on the course and no one knows
that person's name???) could not be reached
for comment. Continue reading...
